Before You Read Any Further, Find Out if You're in the Right Place...

  • You're a pet owner who is overwhelmed, frustrated, and maybe even afraid of your challenging dog and has tried "all the things", spent tons of money, and spent hours online researching, but has had limited success  (or maybe things have even gotten worse!) with the things you've tried and are still struggling - And you KNOW there has to be something else out there.
  • You're a competitor and your dog has fabulous working potential , but behavioral issues or excitement issues have prevented you from achieving the success you know you can have with your dog. Or maybe they're just driving you crazy  in every other aspect of life.
  • You're a dog trainer or aspiring trainer who feels limited in what you currently know - and even turn business away because of it - but wants to help more owners and dogs live their best lives together.

If you said "YES!" to any of the above, you are in the right place!

TBTE and the Rewired Dog Academy will give you life-changing perspectives, the tools, the techniques, and the support to change your life and your relationship with your dog.

THIS IS MY LIFE AND I'M READY FOR A CHANGE!

Do you experience any of these?

  • Constant judgment from others.

  • You’ve been told “some dogs just can’t change” or that you just need to be a stronger owner to manage them.

  • Your dog’s behavior is unpredictable and exhausting.

  • You’re afraid of what might happen if things don’t improve.
  • You’re constantly managing and avoiding situations.
  • Traditional obedience training hasn’t solved the problem.

  • You feel guilty and heartbroken.

  • You’re overwhelmed by conflicting advice.

  • You need a real solution—something that changes your dog’s emotions, not just their behavior.

What if the future with your dog looked like this…

  • Your dog can relax instead of constantly being on edge.

  • You have the confidence to handle any situation.

  • You no longer live in fear of "what if."

  • You’re afraid of what might happen if things don’t improve.
  • Your home is a place of peace, not constant management.
  • Your dog’s emotions have changed, not just their behavior.

  • You finally have the life with your dog you always imagined.

If you change a dog's emotions, anything is possible!

In our upcoming class, we will show you how you can help your dog become comfortable in this world...and free of their challenges.

By the end of this program, you will have...

Gained a Deeper Understanding of Your Dog

You’ll see your dog in a whole new light, recognizing the emotions behind their behavior and understanding why they behave the way they do.

Learned How to Navigate Challenges Effectively

You’ll be equipped with the right perspectives,  tools and strategies to support your dog in any situation, knowing when they’re ready for new challenges and when they need more support.

Developed a New Approach to Communication

You’ll learn actual two-way communication where you and your dog can "speak" to each other using  a language that resonates with your dog, allowing for clearer, more effective interactions that foster trust and emotional security.

Experienced Positive, Lasting Behavioral Changes

Your dog’s improved emotional state will naturally lead to better behavior, with fewer struggles and more cooperative, confident interactions.

A Calmer, More Relaxed Dog

Through proven relaxation techniques, you’ll help your dog shift from stress and reactivity to a state of calm, creating a more peaceful and harmonious life together.

A Feeling of Empowerment and Optimism About the Future

You’ll move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of hope, knowing you have the knowledge and skills to support your dog in any life stage.

"I highly recommend TBTE! The methods are highly effective, you can dive in and get as deep as you want (I recommend going deep!), the methods are clear and humane to the animals and Mark and Stephanie are kind and humane to people, and they create an atomosphere of support for learning and growth like nothing I have experienced. "

Real Stories from Members of Previous Cohorts of this Class

If you haven't taken the L1 {Rewired Dog Academy}, you absolutely should. I have tried so many different programs for my 2 year old human and dog reactive GSD. Tonight, because of the skills I learned, for the first time in his life, my 100 lb GSD melted like a stick of butter to the floor in a calm state. It was pure magic. Tears filled my eyes with relief after all the things I've tried.

Estie S.

Rosie is with us for several months while we treat SEVERE Separation Anxiety.

Rosie has NEVER played with toys or even shown an interest in them.

The “narrative” for her has always been that “she doesn’t play”. Be careful of the stories you tell yourself about your dog.

As we work on supporting her core emotional issues at her level and at her pace, more and more of her true, and sweet, and playful personality SPONTANEOUSLY emerge.

Teaching a dog to genuinely be playful who’s “never played with toys” would never occur like this with conventional methods and approaches - Spontaneous change in personality and disposition!

If you’re struggling with any severe behavior, stay the course, stick with your dog and be patient and watch them bloom into the dog you know is in there.

Be their advocate by digging in and learning all you can and learning how to do these things well.  Give them all the support they need in order to be successful at each step and don’t push them.

Miracles happen. And with TBTE, miracles like this happen every day💙🐾

Andrew G.

After a very rough vet visit in August for an ear infection, Poe wouldn't accept handling without some degree of fear.

After using the TBTE systems he was very optimistic during an exam for an eye injury (that seems to be very painful). I have no idea what this goofy goober did to his eye.

Another TBTE success story.

I love teaching my clients, but I can't even explain the positive changes it has had for my personal dogs. They are so much happier during things that may have been scary in the past.

What's Included

Most dog training courses focus on obedience, but what if the key to lasting change lies in emotions, relaxation, and perception? Our students don’t just learn techniques—they witness real transformation in their dogs.

This 14-week online program gives you a step-by-step system to create a calm, optimistic, and emotionally balanced dog—without relying on constant commands or corrections.

What’s Included in the Course:

✔ 14 weeks of structured learning with clear, actionable steps.
✔ Online access so you can learn at your own pace.
✔ A dedicated support group where you can connect with other class members.
✔ Weekly coaching calls for direct feedback and guidance.

The TBTE Relaxation Triad: The Foundation for Calmness

We introduce three proven relaxation techniques that help dogs self-regulate and recover from stress:

  • The Behavioral Down – Teaching dogs to relax, not just obey.

  • Differential Reinforcement for Relaxation – Encouraging calm behavior naturally.

  • Conditioned Relaxation – Helping dogs learn to relax on cue.

  • Know when and how to use each for the best results.

Creating the Optimistic Dog

Is your dog naturally an optimist or a pessimist?

  • Learn what makes YOUR dog optimistic.

  • How to shift their mindset toward confidence and resilience.

  • Why optimism is the foundation for a well-adjusted, happy dog.

Helping Dogs Reframe Aversive Events

Dogs encounter stressful situations, whether it’s loud noises, unfamiliar people, or grooming.

  • Learn how to help your dog recover from stress

  • Techniques for turning scary moments into non-events.

The Grade School Model: Knowing When You're Asking Too Much

  • A simple framework to avoid frustration in training.

  • Recognizing when a dog (or human) is ready for the next step.

  • Learn how to avoid failure in training.

Melting the Mountain: The Secret to Solving Hard Problems

  • Why working on easy and seemingly unrelated behaviors first makes the hard ones easier.

  • How to break down complex issues into simple steps.

The Bridges: A Communication System That Creates Understanding

Most problem behaviors stem from miscommunication or emotional overwhelm. Our bridge system helps dogs:

  • Understand their environment.

  • Feel emotionally supported.

  • Get and learn how to give clear feedback about their behavior.

Perception Modification: A Better Alternative to Desensitization & Counter-Conditioning

Traditional approaches focus on exposure, but we take it further:

  • Teach your dog to see the world differently—not just tolerate it.

  • Change emotional responses rather than suppress reactions.

Naming & Touching of Body Parts: Stress-Free Grooming & Vet Visits

  • Teach your dog to feel safe and cooperative with handling.

  • Reduce fear and stress during grooming and medical care.

The 3 Levels of Effect in Training: Beyond Behavior

Most training focuses on what a dog does, but we go deeper:

  • Behavior – What the dog does.

  • Thought – How the dog processes experiences.

  • Emotion – How the dog feels about situations.

When you change the emotions anything is possible!

Sunrise/Sunset: Managing & Understanding Reactivity

  • Recognizing the subtle signs before a full-blown reaction.

  • The step-by-step process for guiding your dog back to calmness.

A Personal Note to You

We believe, with every fiber of our being, that emotions are the key to changing even the most challenging behaviors—and we’ll shout that from every rooftop we can!

Our favorite saying is:
"When you change the emotions, anything is possible."

We’ve seen it time and time again—dogs once considered “unfixable” becoming calm, confident, and happy. The more people understand this truth, the more hope they will have for their own dogs, and the more dogs—and the humans who love them—can live joyful, stress-free lives together.

This is more than just training. It’s a new way of thinking about behavior, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Warmly,

Mark & Stephanie

People Often Wonder About These Questions

What is included in the program?

This 14-week program includes weekly learning content, weekly coaching sessions, and an online support group just for class members. Cohorts typically become very connected and supportive of each other!

I work a full time job and have a busy family life. I don’t know if I can fit this training in.

You can engage the course materials whenever it works for you! If you are a night owl, you can watch the videos or ask a question in the support group in the middle of the night. If you are a morning bird, you can do all of your learning in the early part of the day. If you can’t attend the live sessions, you can submit your question  in advance and we will be sure to answer it in our live session so that you can listen to it later. You won’t miss out on a single thing!

And as far as the training itself, it is super easy to fit it into your day in small pockets of time! Whether you spend 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes each day, you and your dog will benefit. TBTE is not a system that requires perfection - any effort will move you in a good direction.

What kind of dog is this course geared towards?

This course and the TBTE method work with any kind of dog - from puppies to seniors! We encourage people not to give up on seniors because helping them emotionally can make their remaining years much more joyful and stress-free. Our system is also great for high-drive working dogs!

Using our system, we are able to help dogs with:

-Aggression (towards humans, other dogs, other animals)

-Anxiety

-Bite histories

-Challenges at the vet or groomer

-Discomfort with touch

-Discomfort with certain family members

-Fear (of people, things, circumstances)

-Fireworks Phobia

-Hyperactivity

-Issues in the car

-Reactivity (towards people, things, other animals)

-Resource Guarding

-Separation Anxiety

-Stranger Danger

-Thunderstorm Phobia

What if I've never done any training with my dog before?

You don’t need to know anything about dog training to benefit from this class. We share all of the information you need in order to be successful!

Do online dog training classes really work?

We’ll be honest - a few years ago we were really skeptical about this as well. Since COVID, we have been teaching pet owners/guardians and professional trainers online and it has worked remarkably well - in some ways it has even worked better than being together in person. Our online Guided courses give members access to all of the course materials when it is convenient to them and as it fits into their schedules - being able to re-watch videos or re-listen to the Q&As or ask a question in the support group when you think about it only helps to cement the learning!

Maybe the most important thing we’ve seen from our online Guided classes is that people have done really well and made great progress when part of a community who is learning, sharing, cheering, supporting, and working through the material together at the same time.

What if I can't attend all of the coaching sessions?

There will be opportunities to ask questions in advance that will be answered on the live calls if you can’t attend in person.

The live sessions will be recorded and shared on the learning portal after each live session has ended.

I know you use a lot of food in your training. What if that's an issue for my dog?

We promise you that we can help you work through any issues you have with using food for training - whether it's due to medical issues, resource guarding issues with another dog in your home, the size of your dog, the weight of your dog, a lack of interest in food, your dog's pickiness with food, your dog's excitement over food.... we have worked with many many clients who struggled with those issues and we were able to help resolve them!

I have multiple pets in my home and there are issues between them. What do I do about that?

We have a number of clients and class members who come to us with those sorts of challenges. It is always something we are prepared to help people through in class and offer solutions for safety, management, and ultimate resolution.

We are happy to guide you through the challenges of having multiple pets in this course!
