How Emotions Shape Behavior
Learn why your dog’s emotions are at the root of almost any behavioral issue, and how addressing their inner world leads to better outcomes than obedience training alone.
Beyond Obedience
Traditional dog training often focuses on the wrong things, creating limited or temporary success. This webinar will show you why focusing on your dog’s emotional state is crucial for deep, lasting change.
Why Training Hasn’t Worked Before
Gain insights into why previous training methods may have fallen short of your expectations, and discover what you can do to create a truly transformative experience for your dog.
Real Case Studies
See how emotional shifts in dogs have resolved complex behavioral issues, and get inspired by real-life examples of dogs that went from anxious and reactive to calm, happy companions.
Meet Some of the Dogs We'll Be Talking About...
These three dogs had significant behavioral issues... but really, they had emotional issues!
Teddy was surrendered to us due to significant resource guarding. He was so bad that he had bitten each of the adults in the house resulting in medical care. Very reasonably, this made his humans worry about the safety of their children with him in the home. His owners were scheduling his euthanasia when we connected. We'll share how by changing his emotions, he is now safe and happy!
Teddy
Scout was uncomfortable with touch and would bite her owners if they touched her for too long. Grooming was a hard 'no' for her. Her general nervousness impacted all aspects of her life.
The last straw was when she was stressed on a walk after seeing several dogs... all it took was her owner touching her and 27 stitches on his arm later...
Scout
Lila was so fearful of sudden movements and sounds that it was really difficult to even use food to train her because any sound or motion related to feeding her would have her running for the hills. Touching her was out of the question. Being touched by her owner was so frightening. She wouldn't bite but she would soil herself. We'll share how this formerly shut down dog became the life of the party!

Thank you so much!!
(This workshop) had invaluable advice that I'm already brainstorming how to utilize with my personal dogs and the dogs that I work with.
A whole new way of thinking, love it!
This all just makes so much sense from what I've learned from (this workshop) so far.
And it also explains why I've only gotten so far with my dog, and why we've been stuck for a long time.
Basically I can distract him, but his emotions haven't changed much.
Thank you so much for putting this info out there.
Gotta say as a caregiver to a jealous possessive reactive dog this is giving me some hope that life won't always be management.
I have a pessimistic boy, so hoping to help him through.
Thank you for your offerings!!
