The Missing Link That Finally Brings Peace to
Reactive, Anxious & Aggressive Dogs
Mastering Conditioned Relaxation with Dogs
When Traditional Training Fails, Emotional Healing Succeeds
[Live 6-Week GUIDED Course Starting July 31st, 2025]
You've Tried Everything... Or Have You?
Most dog owners come to us after conventional training has failed. They've worked with multiple trainers, tried various tools, consulted behavioral veterinarians, even used medication - yet their dog still struggles with:
Overwhelming anxiety that exercise can't touch.
Reactivity that seems to get worse, not better.
Inability to relax, even in "safe" or "normal" situations.
Fear that keeps them from enjoying regular day-to-day activities.
Trauma responses that traditional obedience can't reach.
Your dog has learned obedience but sometimes gets so excited, they can't seem to control themself.
What if the problem isn't your dog's behavior -
but their emotional state?
What Graduates Say
I think (CR) was really integral in helping all of our dogs with all of their many problems, but the big one that stands out to me is Dino - because he was so anti-touch, anti-affection, anti-love. And now he's just a love bug with everyone he meets. Even earlier this year he had to have surgery, and while (the vet) did stitch it up, it came open. It got infected and we were in the vet every other day for some cleaning and bandage changing and laser treatment to help it heal. You know, that's not the most fun place to be. But he'd go over and he'd crawl in their lap and he'd roll over with them. And he's like, let's just snuggle. I'm just here to snuggle. So it's not even that you are developing this better relationship with touch. It has affected us in our personal life but it definitely transcends into real world situations as well.

There's a critical difference between a dog that's simply "unstimulated" and one that's experiencing true relaxation.
When a dog has really learned to relax, they are no longer bothered by things in their environment that used to bother them.
Most training methods focus on managing behaviors or teaching obedience. But lasting transformation happens when you address the root cause: your dog's emotional state.
The Training Between the Ears Difference:
Our Conditioned Relaxation method works with your dog's natural nervous system responses to create genuine emotional healing. Instead of suppressing behaviors, we transform how your dog feels about the world.
This isn't about teaching your dog to "sit" or "stay" - it's about helping them find peace from the inside out.
Understanding Your Dog's Nervous System
At the heart of Conditioned Relaxation is the vagus nerve - a critical component of your dog's parasympathetic nervous system that influences heart rate, digestion, and emotional regulation.
When your dog's vagus nerve isn't functioning properly, it disrupts the normal balance of neurotransmitters in their brain. This leads to:
• Increased anxiety and restlessness
• Heightened aggression or reactivity
• Inability to calm down or self-regulate
• Behavioral changes that seem impossible to address through traditional training
Resetting Your Dog's Nervous System
Conditioned Relaxation works by stimulating the vagus nerve in ways that promote genuine relaxation, reducing stress, and improving overall autonomic nervous system function.
There are simple, natural ways to help dogs shift out of fight-or-flight, or just unregulated excitement and into a more grounded state of being.
You don't need a ton of tools - just a commitment to slowing down and working with your dog's body instead of against it.

What Graduates Say
Aero really struggles with being around his housemates. He has a particular nemesis dog that makes him just get tense the moment he's in the room. For Aero doing the CR really seems to help immensely because (before) he would lay there being terribly uncomfortable so uncomfortably wouldn't move, but he couldn't get himself in a good space. And (now) the moment I start doing this hands on approach, relaxing him… it is so interesting to see my dog take that deep breath, you know, seeing him start to relax, seeing him get to a point where the (other) dog isn't even noticed... I've noticed some big changes in my house the moment I started doing some of this relaxation work, because he's actually been playing. And so watching him, he's starting to play while his nemesis dog is in the room, he's actually able to really let go and relax and have a fun time in that dog's presence. And that is a big deal for my dog!

Meet Us
A Personal Note to You
We believe, with every fiber of our being, that emotions are the key to changing even the most challenging behaviors—and we’ll shout that from every rooftop we can!
Our favorite saying is:
"When you change the emotions, anything is possible."
We’ve seen it time and time again—dogs once considered “unfixable” becoming calm, confident, and happy. The more people understand this truth, the more hope they will have for their own dogs, and the more dogs—and the humans who love them—can live joyful, stress-free lives together.
This is more than just training. It’s a new way of thinking about behavior, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Warmly,
Mark & Stephanie
Imagine 6 weeks from now...
Your dog takes a deep, relaxed breath in situations that used to trigger them. They seek out affection instead of avoiding touch. They can be in the presence of their former "triggers" and actually play and enjoy themselves.
You feel confident instead of anxious. Connected instead of frustrated. Proud instead of embarrassed.
This isn't just a dream—it's the reality our students experience when they address their dog's emotional foundation through Conditioned Relaxation.
Your dog is struggling today. Every day you wait is another day they live in emotional distress—and another day you live with the stress, guilt, and limitations their behavior creates.
The next course doesn't start until July 31st, and with only 1-2 offerings per year, waiting means months more of the same struggles you're facing now.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Our first class kicks off on Thursday, July 31st. It’ll be an opportunity to meet the class members and get started! The call is from 7-9pm ET. Classes will be held every Tuesday between January 7th thru February 25th except on January 21st). Don't worry if you can't make it! Everything will be recorded and shared so you can watch later!
This course is perfect for:
You can engage the course materials whenever it works for you! If you are a night owl, you can watch the videos or ask a question in the support group in the middle of the night. If you are a morning bird, you can do all of your learning in the early part of the day. If you can’t attend the live sessions, you can submit your question in advance and we will be sure to answer it in our live session so that you can listen to it later. You won’t miss out on a single thing!
And as far as the training itself, it is super easy to fit it into your day in small pockets of time! Whether you spend 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes each day, you and your dog will benefit. TBTE is not a system that requires perfection - any effort will move you in a good direction.
You don’t need to know anything about dog training to benefit from this class. We share all of the information you need in order to be successful!
We’ll be honest - a few years ago we were really skeptical about this as well. Since COVID, we have been teaching pet owners/guardians and professional trainers online and it has worked remarkably well - in some ways it has even worked better than being together in person. Our online Guided courses give members access to all of the course materials when it is convenient to them and as it fits into their schedules - being able to re-watch videos or re-listen to the Q&As or ask a question in the support group when you think about it only helps to cement the learning!
Maybe the most important thing we’ve seen from our online Guided classes is that people have done really well and made great progress when part of a community who is learning, sharing, cheering, supporting, and working through the material together at the same time.
You can absolutely use the free resources – but you won’t learn the very specific nuances and method that we teach - it’s those specifics that make all of the difference and create success with even the most difficult of dogs!
In our experience, the results are nothing like the deep and substantive changes we are able to create using the TBTE system – incorporating relaxation and the transformation to optimism, as well as the hands-on help we offer is a whole different experience and something one doesn’t get from watching a variety of free content online.
