Anxiety
Your Dog and Anxiety
It’s normal to feel frustrated by a dog’s anxiety because our lives are often really impacted and structured around trying to accommodate it. Imagine living with anxiety all the time (some humans don’t even have to imagine what it feels like, they live it too).
What we’ve learned over time is that relaxation is a big part of the puzzle for resolving anxiety. Not managing. Resolving. And empathy. Dogs aren’t trying to make our lives difficult. They are just experiencing difficulties and stress.
(PS. If you aren’t doing at least some BDs, you should be!)
